Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 20 June 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of df00tech.com (the “Service”), operated by DF00TECH LTD (“we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 16185504), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

df00tech provides a library of security detection content and related tools. Free detection queries are available to all users; certain content and features (such as playbooks, atomic tests, and the playground) require a paid subscription.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

Subscriptions & payment

  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g. monthly) via our payment processor, Stripe, at the prices shown on our pricing page.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Consumers in the UK/EU may have statutory cancellation rights; contact us to exercise them.
  • We may change prices or plan features on reasonable notice; changes take effect at your next renewal.

Acceptable use

The Service and its content are provided to help defenders build detections. You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to attack systems you are not authorised to test;
  • resell, redistribute, or republish paid content except as permitted by your plan;
  • attempt to disrupt, scrape at scale, or circumvent access controls of the Service.

Intellectual property & licence

The Service and its content are owned by df00tech or its licensors. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the detection content within your own organisation for your internal security operations. Third-party marks (e.g. MITRE ATT&CK®) belong to their respective owners.

No warranty

The Service and its detection content are provided “as is”. Detections are aids for your security team and must be reviewed and tested in your own environment; we do not warrant that they will detect every threat or be free of false positives. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your reliance on the detection content. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. On termination, the licence granted to you ends.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you locally.
